The outlook toward fitness has evolved in recent years. However, conventional wisdom once dictated that people who wanted to build a physique had to sacrifice the joys of life.?“The fitness industry was not about balance it was really about sacrificing your life,” said Kinobody. The influencer said people thought they needed to have bland meals and sacrifice most luxuries.

“Let’s not go out and socialize much, let’s never have one glass of wine,” said Gallagher.?“The whole premise was like you’re gonna get in shape and life is gonna suck,” Kinobody added. He also suffered due to this outlook, but learned he could do things differently. He realized only professional bodybuilders require such sacrifice to build Olympia’s winning physique. However, that is not what the average person wants.

“What do we actually want to look like? It’s like when you see Brad Pitt,”?said Gallagher. So instead of working out hours in the gym and having a bland diet, he reevaluated his approach.

Gallagher said people specialized in certain disciplines and gave advice within their discipline. If someone wanted to lose weight, “there’s someone to follow for that.”?However, he entered the emerging space of influencers who promoted holistic fitness. Influencers like Kinobody helped others with bodybuilding, weight loss, and diet advice for overall improvement.
