Eight-time Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman, has reigned over the bodybuilding world for the better part of the 2000s. However, years of overworking his body to win titles have taken a toll on the legend. Coleman had multiple surgeries to treat his back pain and herniated disc. This caused so much damage that the bodybuilder needs support to walk and uses a wheelchair. This setback has failed to make a dent in the legend’s demeanor. The 300-pound monster charmingly interacts with fans on social media frequently.

Ronnie Coleman gives some love advice

In a YouTube video, Coleman responded to a question from his fans. Pinning ben_serrano9’s comment on the video “How do I get a GF?“, the King responded, “Well Ben all you gotta do, go to the gym and lift as much weight as you possibly can, and make sure you go to a gym like Metroflex Gym where it’s all business….”

The gargantuan bodybuilder has a long association with the Metroflex Gym. The prolific bodybuilder used to train in the gym, and now he has helped open a chain in Tampa, Florida. He was present on the inauguration day, interacting with fans. He clicked pictures with them and also signed autographs. Given his own positive experience with the gym, Coleman advised Ben to check out the Metroflex gym to build muscles.

The Mr. Olympia winner further added, “And I guarantee you, once you get all pumped up, get those muscles all out there showing and flowing, you will get as many girlfriends as you can handle.” Coleman’s mature advice is a great takeaway for the present generation because it puts the focus back on fitness and bodybuilding. The no-nonsense approach to having a girlfriend may win some hearts. While Coleman funnily delivered the message, it has a deeper meaning: to work on oneself and be the best one can be.

Coleman had a hard time finding girlfriends

One would think that after achieving celebrity status, Ronnie would have had many girlfriends. After all, he was in the limelight for eight consecutive years. However, in an interview in 2001, Coleman revealed that girls were afraid of his herculean figure.
