Warning the consequences of relying on a low-protein keto diet, Palumbo stated,?“The Performance ketogenic diet is a high protein, moderate fat, low carb diet. Everyone who’s a bodybuilder, anyone who’s an athlete who uses a ketogenic diet should be using my essential…you know framework for that. You do not want to do low protein or you will be very, very sorry about it, you’ll lose a ton of muscle.”

?After having a meal from McDonald’s, he noticed a change while at the gym the next day. ?I look like a freak, I was like veins everywhere, I felt like I put on two-three pounds of muscle and I actually gained weight on the scale,? he narrated. He further admitted about McDonald?s, ?I just grew better on that meal and it wasn?t like I gained any body fat from it, it wasn?t like my blood work got skewed from it.?
