Days after the Arnold Classic 2024, the Classic Physique division champion, Wesley Vissers, and the best poser, Urs Kalecinski, were seen together with the five-time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead. The bodybuilding icons gathered at the Blood Sweat and Body Works gym in Phoenix, where they ended up talking about the 2024 Arnold Classic Strongman standings.

In the recent YouTube video shared by CBum’s channel, the bodybuilders performed their warmup before their gym session. It is after this that Kalecinski went on to talk about Hafthor Bjornsson’s insane deadlift that happened at the Arnold Classic. As the video progressed the Classic Physique icons all had their two cents on how the Strongman event played out.

The Dutch Oak, Magical Bear, and CBum talked about Bjornsson’s one thousand-pound deadlift with Kalecinksi saying,” You saw how smooth he lifted those.” Vissers then mentioned how Bjornsson won that event without even breaking a sweat. However, as the Strongman Classic moved ahead, it was Mitchell Hooper that emerged as the winner, leaving Bjornsson in fourth place.

Everyone was expecting Bjornsson to nail his fourth victory during his comeback, as he entered the second day with a lead. But Hooper turned the table in the Timber Carry event, beating Bjornsson by just completing the run in 7.10 seconds. Hooper, thus took the tile home for the second straight time. As the Classic Physique trio engaged in conversation, CBum pulled his legs and hinted at Hooper’s resemblance with him, calling him his “Bald twin“.

It was not just the strongman classic that found a place in their conversation. CBum had other things to talk about as well. Bumstead had a friendly piece of advice for the current Arnold Classic champion. He told Vissers to focus on the Mr. Olympia for the time being, paying less attention to other events. This might come across as an indication that the competition at the Mr. Olympia is going to be tougher than the previous year, with Vissers winning the Arnold Classic.

On the other hand, even during his off-season, Bumstead has continued to keep himself prepared for the marquee event. A few days ago, CBum had shared a reel doing dumbbell presses.

Despite being on an off-season break, Bumstead never leaves his training behind. Recently, he shared an Instagram reel in which he was performing a dumbbell press with one-fifty-pound dumbbells. Bumstead struggled a bit with his last rep but still pushed his limits. He captioned the reel, “Almost lost that last rep, but I was like hell no I ain’t being a skinny b*tch today.” showcasing his dedication and determination to his training.
