However, the retired bodybuilding icon Dave Palumbo believes his followers’ stats are fake.

CBum’s brother-in-law, Iain Valliere, came to the 5x Mr. Olympia champion’s rescue and called out Palumbo for his lame comments on Instagram.

The high follower count is price-rewarded to the craze physique dynamics online. CBum is the most popular bodybuilder of this era, and his craze could be harmlessly compared to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s glory of the 1970s. However, the former bodybuilding journalist Palumbo believes otherwise.

He also questioned how big companies would offer him hefty checks for a single endorsement post. However, the Classic Physique God’s fans know that CBum’s Instagram posts are anything but sponsorship posts.

If Chris really has 22 million followers, like legit 22 million, he should be selling his own energy drink. If Logan Paul could sell Prime, Bumstead could sell an energy drink just as well,” the 55-year-old Palumbo remarked. These statements by Palumbo didn’t go well with Chris Bumstead’s brother-in-law. So, Iain Valliere took the comment section of B&T’s post and taunted Palumbo, “He has an energy drink you old monkey lol.”

Iain Valliere married CBum’s sister, but the boys are more than brothers. Valliere introduced Chris Bumstead to the sport of bodybuilding and carved him into a Classic Physique champion. Valliere trained CBum until 2022, and weeks before Mr. Olympia 2022, the 5x Mr. Olympia joined hands with Hany Rambod to help his brother-in-law focus on his bodybuilding career.

When Valliere announced retirement before this year’s Mr. Olympia, CBum was supportive of his long-time aide’s decision. They even got a hair transplantation treatment done together. The brothers strive to share a love for hard work and cheer for each other’s growth.

The recent defense by Valliere only revealed the deep bond he shares with CBum. While speculations are never known to the 5x Mr. Olympia champion, his fame on the internet continues to soar high, and his fans are excited to witness CBum transform into a daddy very soon, and Valliere will have another human to care about (Baby Bum).
