In a recent YouTube video posted by Generation Iron Fitness & Bodybuilding Network, Mike O Hearn takes an interview with Clark, where he calls him out to be extremely fit for his age. Both of them, being in their 50s, strike up the conversation by saying, “We are both closing in on 60… You look like a superhero. And is there something about the blood markers that kind of tells you why you’re being able to retain that kind of muscle with a deficit of a diet? Because that’s not normal.”

Mike questions Clark because he has never been a big eater. Under that circumstance, it is unlikely for a man his age to retain the physique he possesses. Bartram replies, “My body’s adapted, you know… it’s adapted to that lifestyle.” He further explains taking Hearn’s example into consideration, “Where you have adapted to every two hours… and I’ve adapted to the opposite.”

The interview proceeds with Clark and Hearn talking about the rare examples in front of them who motivate them. They believe that even if only one of them had been out there, they would have the same drive.

When Bartram was asked how long he plans to maintain his body, he said 70. He thus explains why,?“I don’t see any reason why I can’t be 70 years old. Because we have evidence of that being possible in Robbie Robinson. We see it so it’s not like it’s some mythical thing.”?Mike contributes to the conversation by bringing up another instance he had seen.?“Other day I saw this 82-year-old woman deadlift 205 pounds.”?
