Michael O’Hearn?has solidified his status as a renowned American bodybuilding champion, esteemed personal trainer, accomplished actor, distinguished model, and whatnot. An infamous strongman, Mike also enjoys a very strong fanbase on social media with over 479K subscribers on his YouTube channel. Through his YT videos, Mike often shares his unfiltered opinion on several bodybuilding interests.

Most recently, the 54-year-old uploaded a video, talking about how people compromise their weight as they age. The 7x Fitness Model of the Year caught everyone’s attention with his continuous rant about people not giving more care and attention to their training after a certain age. Here is what he said:

The 4x Mr. Universe winner took to YouTube to share a video where he delved into the topic of prolonged training periods. He said, ?Got a lot of Dms about longevity training for a long period of time. Training correctly for a long period of time so you get better in time not just with exercise.”

He was talking while walking on the treadmill and said exhaustedly, ?So, one of the harsh realities is if you were one of these people that goes ? I hate this age whatever it is 30,35,40 and you go I?m training light now with a lot of reps.?

Mike follows that by explaining, ?And you?re going to get weaker as you continue to train that way.? Furthermore, he left a significant message about aging and still being fit. Mike added, ?If I want to be good in 10 years. I have to put that work in the correct way now.?

The 4x Powerlifting champion was serious about longevity and going lighter with more reps. There was an individual in the video call with him and they were having a conversation. The person in the video call said, ?It?s a very patient game,? to which Mike agreed.

Mike says not to give in sugar every day

The fitness champion stated about weightlifting that ?it?s so much more than the sweet and looking a certain way,?. He also added, ?Force the body to get stronger as you age don?t force it to get weaker?

He also states that giving in to sugar every day and light weights is harmful to the body. O’Hearn further implores in his video to start the fitness journey in his 20s or 30s. ?You guys will be fr** superstars?. He ends the video by giving a sneak peek about his next movie and says, ?I gotta read these lines from my next movie.?
