After being placed second in Mr. Olympia 2023, Hadi Choopan got really upset and stormed off from the stage. However, there is another bodybuilder who left the podium as a bronze medalist is off celebrating. Samson Dauda is one of the few athletes who, despite not winning the title, has been captured flaunting and showcasing his medal on social media.

Dauda recently shared pictures and videos of himself posing with his medal and trophy. He expressed gratitude and thanked the people who helped him achieve these challenging goals. He was still in disbelief, that he won third place. With his incredible growth and dedication, he might become Mr. Olympia in the near future. Earlier, he also participated in the Arnold Classic and won the show. However, in Mr. Olympia, he made it to the top three, which was remarkable. In the previous year, he was placed fourth to Nick Walker. In his debut Olympia contest in 2022, he impressed the judges and secured sixth place. It is interesting to know that the current champion in the Open Division and runner-up debuted at the same time in this division. However, Lunsford was placed second in his debut.

Nonetheless, in his latest Instagram video post, in his speech, he mentioned late bodybuilding legend Shawn Rhoden who inspired him to pursue his career in bodybuilding. During this video, the Nigerian Lion expressed his deep fascination with the sport but was truly upset to see people spreading negativity about bodybuilding. He urged everyone to appreciate the platform and the efforts of athletes.
