The 77 YO fitness influencer recently took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of herself smiling her absolutely gorgeous smile wearing a hand band. She began by disclosing what had happened to her and wrote, “Last Saturday I took a terrible fall on my bike riding to the beach. The wind caught my hat and I fell right over the handlebars and into the ditch, hitting my head hard and banging up my shoulder and arm pretty badly.”

However, having embarked on the fitness journey at the age of 69 and consistently working out for 17 long years has paid off for Grandma. In the caption, she added, “Let me tell I was shaking like a leaf. Luckily nothing was broken. 🙏” MacDonald used this opportunity to motivate people to stay fit and wrote, “But what if building your muscle mass, training your reflexes and staying active could significantly prevent you from dying from a fall or getting seriously injured?”
Comparing her fit self to her husband, she even states how she has seen the practical benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle. On one hand, where Joan MacDonald is fit to her bones, she says, “My own husband who choose not to train or eat healthy has fractured his hip 3 times in the past few years resulting in several surgeries and stays in the hospital.
