The bodybuilding world is no stranger to the legendary names of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronnie Coleman. While Arnold is thought of as the person who popularized the sport (sparked the fire) throughout the globe, Ronnie’s contribution to keeping the fire burning can also not be avoided. The legends might be from different eras, but they still have mutual respect and continue to inspire countless individuals despite retiring from the sport decades ago.

Another common habit between the duo is training regularly, despite their tough age. During their recent encounter at the ‘Mecca of bodybuilding,’ Schwarzenegger and Coleman trained shoulder and arms together, and both of them expressed through their social media how successful and fun the session was. However, during one instance, Coleman posed a question that might have been a little uncomfortable for Arnold to answer.

One of the most exceptional details about Schwarzenegger’s physique has been his massive chest and unreal bicep peak. His short-headed bicep speaks immensely about the years of hard work and dedication that Schwarzenegger has put in. While training arms, Coleman and Schwarzenegger did machine preacher curls, which are considered a good exercise for training biceps. When Arnold started his set, Coleman could not help but notice his impressive bicep peak.

Ronnie jokingly commented, “That’s a big old notch you got there. Where’d you get that from? You ain’t been doing injections, have you? That’s pretty big for how old you say you’re supposed to be. That don’t look like no 76-year-old bicep.”

The duo shared a laugh frequently during the entire workout. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronnie Coleman have both proved their worth in the realm of professional bodybuilding, bagging a total of 15 Mr. Olympia titles. While Schwarzenegger held the record for the most Olympia wins back in his era, Coleman is only the second bodybuilder ever to break Arnold’s applaudable record. Also, during their training session, Schwarzenegger explained the difference between a 7X Mr. Olympia and an 8X Mr. Olympia.

Despite going through thirteen surgeries for his back, Coleman’s dedication to training daily says a lot about his discipline and determination. Coleman has always been known for pushing his limits while training. Even when the duo trained together, Coleman did a few extra reps compared to ‘The Austrian Oak.’ Impressed by this, Schwarzenegger pointed out that this is what separates him and Coleman.

After a grueling set of 15 reps, Schwarzenegger stated, “Look at those reps; how can anyone keep up with this stuff? You see, that’s the difference between a 8X Mr. Olympia and a mere 7X Mr. Olympia. This is what the difference is right there. It’s very visual; you can see it; everyone can see it.”
