Arnold Schwarzenegger fans are quite aware of his free-flowing personality, which enabled him to try out many professional journeys and other things in his life. Therefore, after gaining much recognition as a bodybuilder, the star was featured in a hilarious advertisement for a Japanese energy drink during his years as a rookie actor. The day after Arnie’s 76th birthday, the iconic ad resurfaced on Twitter.
The ad was created to promote an energy drink to the Japanese audience with the IFBB Pro as the face of the brand in 1989. He appeared like a genie in the bottle in a typical Japanese setting.

Soon after the former bodybuilder turned 76 on Sunday, a post on Twitter hinted at the staggering ad from decades ago. It was shared by a page, Fascinating, and noted in the caption that, around the 1980s and 1990s, American celebrities were not up for doing many advertising projects.

However, they would be interested in doing the same in Japan and for their companies. “In the 1980s and 1990s, many celebrities wouldn’t do advertising work in the U.S., but they’d happily work in Japan,” it read. Whereas, a snippet of the ad was pinned to the post, displaying Arnie in his most unique form, bursting out of a bottle of an energy drink. The ad also had a Japanese co-actress alongside Arnie, with whom he spoke the tagline of the drink in the Asian language.
This feature surfaced years before he made it big in the film industry, and films like Twins and Junior were only an idea. It is safe to say that the athlete can ace almost every project he signs up for, even though he might not understand the language. A great entertainer, Arnie never fails to amuse his fans and the audience. Hence, ahead of his Netflix series FUBAR’s release, the star amused the community with an interesting promotional feature.

What fans happen to call the “Thorminator“, Arnold once featured along with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth amidst the hustle and bustle of both their series and movie’s release. Arnold was already promoting FUBAR when, at the same time, Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 also surfaced. Thus, Netflix brought in a genius idea of bringing the two action stars together.

The actors were displayed in a lift at the Netflix headquarters when suddenly Arnie’s series played on the screen. Sparking the action-laden conversation, the former bodybuilder gave the Australian actor tips on improving his action film. Whereas, Hemsworth tried to imitate Arnie’s iconic Terminator catchphrases, ending the snippet on a hilarious note.
