Megastar, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s life has been overwhelmed with accolades and fame but that’s not all. Owing to his iconic life journey, OTT-giant, Netflix is all set to launch his very own documentary, ARNOLD, in the first week of June. However, despite all the achievements, the legend particularly admitted to his biggest failure, his divorce from his ex-wife, Maria Shriver. He openly shared that he shall never be able to overcome this mistake of his life. 

A post on the official page of Netflix surfaced hours ago, featuring a trailer from the documentary. It claimed to be the most in-depth film, in the caption, leaving the bodybuilding community on their toes.

As per the source, a captivating snippet of the 75-year-old legend rolled in hours ago on Instagram. Starting from his childhood to pro competing in the sport, various glimpses were presented. With eventual behind-the-scenes quotes by Schwarzenegger himself, his iconic journey was portrayed on a subtly dramatic note. Moments after glimpses of his political triumphs, the actor’s failures were also brought to light.

“People will remember my successes and they will also remember my failures,” he said in the video. Hinting at the tumultuous phase of his life, his separation from his long-time partner and wife, Shriver in 2011, after a scandal with his housekeeper, Mildred Baena, has left him regretful for life. The star couple finally got divorced after a decade of their separation and the Austrian Oak shall never get the better of it.

Therefore, the former Governor revealed, “It was very tough on my marriage, on my relationship with the kids. I have caused enough pain for my family.” Expressing his resentment, he added, “I’m going to have to live with it for the rest of my life.” Yet, the champion doesn’t know his way around giving up on things. Hence, he maintains a good relationship with his family of four kids, and also his son, Joseph Baena. The divorce was a very public one, hence, the world was a witness to the chaos the family was subject to. It has become a significant part of his life and he admits it in almost every in-depth interview he features in.

Throwback to 2015, Schwarzenegger appeared on the Howard Stern Show, where he frankly opened up about his split with Shriver. He remembers the time as the lowest point of his life. “I had personal setbacks, but this was, without any doubt, the biggest setback and the biggest failure. Without any doubt,” he disclosed.

Moreover, he marked this as not only his failure but a great mistake, for which only he is to be held accountable. The Terminator actor added, “It was me that screwed up.” He doesn’t intend to point fingers at anyone, but himself.
