2011 was a landmark year for Phil Heath. He had become the 13th Mr. Olympia and continued his winning streak for the next six years too. Not only that, this was the momentous year when the reigning champion, Jay Cutler, had been dethroned from his position ending his two back-to-back wins in 2009 and 2010.

The 7x Olympia champion, replied on Cutler’s social media, saying, ” Can you believe it’s been 12yrs @jaycutler? One of the wildest trips ever.” Both had come a long way since their first encounter. They had first met at a 2003 bodybuilding event. Cutler had just cinched his second Arnold Classic and was a guest poser at NPC North Colorado, where Heath was making his debut as a light heavyweight.

The picture posted was from a trip to India. Cutler and Heath had gone halfway around the world to attend the First Annual Sheru Classic Event taking place in Mumbai. Here too, Heath had bagged the championship title with 4x Mr. Olympia coming in second place. This win cemented the 7x champion’s position as the World’s Best Bodybuilder. The Sheru Classic is one of the largest bodybuilding events in Asia, sanctioned by IFFB.
