Popular bodybuilding sensation, Jo Lindner recently passed away due to a condition called aneurysm. It is caused by a bulge in the aorta, or anywhere in the circulatory system. His partner, Nicha confirmed the turn of events that led to his death, as iterated in her recent Instagram post, along with additional information on the incident. 

This disheartening incident reminds us of another notable bodybuilder who suffered similar consequences only a few years ago, owing to the condition. As per a report by Powerlifting Motivation, the untimely death of George Peterson III was discussed in detail. 

The Story of George Peterson III 

According to the publication, it was revealed that the former Mr. Olympia competitor was preparing for the 2021 Mr. Olympia event when life took a different turn. He passed away on 8 October 2021, at the age of 37. Although the cause of his death was reported as unknown at the time, it was speculated that aneurysm could be one of the possible causes. 

American bodybuilder, Dave Palumbo shared additional information about the last few moments of the late athlete. Sources claim that he was found lying dead in his hotel room, with his nose bleeding, as per Palumbo’s claims. Even he suggested an aneurysm could be a reason for his demise. Also known as Da Bull, the athlete was an emerging icon in the industry.

He was the champion of the 2019 Arnold Classic Pro and a four-time second runner-up of Mr. Olympia. Besides his professional achievements, Peterson was also hailed as a kind human being, and after his death, the community was taken aback. They showered him and his family with heartfelt blessings and thoughtful comments. Sadly, Peterson was preparing for the Men’s 212 division when he passed away. Similarly, soon after Lindner’s death, his partner revealed the reason behind his tragic death.

Taking to her Instagram, the bodybuilder’s partner, Nicha penned down a heartfelt note confirming that Lindner had died due to an aneurysm. Revealing further details on the matter, she shared that the athlete had passed away while in her arms. The Thai bodybuilder and bikini competitor added that Lindner had complained of neck pain for the past 3 days, although they had done nothing about it.

Moreover, the athlete was waiting to meet his gym partner, Noel Deyzel at 16:00. The latter also dedicated a post to his good friend and training partner. Speaking of Nicha, she showcased the customized necklace that Lindner had gifted her, moments before the incident.
