In the past 11 years of her fitness journey, she has learned a lot through trial and error, and in her recent Instagram post, she revealed a bit about her journey for her fans in an attempt to motivate them to start their fitness journey as well.

Landers revealed that she started her lifting career almost a decade ago, at the age of 60. Her story serves as a true reminder of the statement that ‘Age is just a number.’ After getting a lower lumbar fusion surgery, Landers started her training and competed in her first ever bodybuilding content at the age of 69.
Landers wrote in her recent Instagram post, “At 69 I entered my first bodybuilding competition, and have not stopped! I just completed my 7th Competition at Masters Nationals in Pittsburgh! And I am NOT DONE YET!”
Revealing the secret behind her success, she stated, “It’s all about consistency… This is not rocket science… what you see here is 11 years of consistentcy, good nutrition and hard work. Yes, It does not happen overnight, but it is SO WORTH IT! And it is never too late to start!”
What does her training and diet look like?

Talking about her training routine, Renee disclosed that she lifts 5 days a week and performs cardio daily for about 45 minutes. She also pointed out that the diet she is following is strictly specific to her own needs. She suggested her viewers get a trainer or some professional assistance if they are looking to get toned.
Opening up about her diet, she wrote, “I’m a Low FODMAP wheat and dairy-free, Pescatarian and I also eat eggs. The rule of thumb is eat at least 1 g of protein for every pound of body weight per day… At a minimum.”
