Recently, following gym crusader Joey Swoll’s actions toward gym-goers, bodybuilding legend Phil Heath has joined the forces to raise concerns against this issue. The seven times Mr. Olympia has criticized the behavior of some gym-goers, and emphasized the importance of a respectful gym atmosphere.

Heath recently shared a story on his Instagram account where he addressed the concerning situation. He advocated maintaining a positive and supportive gym environment because it’s essential. Like Swoll, Heath also asked his followers to be mindful in the gym while working out.

Phil Heath rambled on gym-goers

While interacting with fans through IG, he candidly talked about this problem. Gradually, this behavior not only affects him but can also distract and be disruptive to others as well. And how it’s getting out of hand and it could distract others as well.

The 43-year-old bodybuilder said, “If you are going to the gym, be perfect. You know, have some purpose. Don’t just be going over there. I’ve been seeing a lot of people at the gym. I’ve been training out lately. I’m calling them out right now since I’ve been calling everybody out. This was one of those days, um, stop the damn phone.”

He continued with his explanation;

You got people like literally five minutes like on a machine or on a scrolling this and that and the other not moving their body at all. Barely even getting the sweat. It’s just wild to me. Barely getting the pump either,” Heath was disgusted with the people’s behavior in the gym people came into the gym with no purpose and started looking at their phones instead of working out. He comes up with a remedy for how can somebody use their time fully while training.

Heath suggested having some purpose in life

He suggested a solution for those who waste time in the gym “So for everybody that wants to get some gains you know have the playlist already, you know create a playlist so you just play it and just focus and get your gains and do it over again and over again. And hopefully, if you do it right, you actually achieve more and more and more, “,

He ended the video by wishing everybody to have a great weekend and be mindful whenever to step into the gym. He also mentioned that you should not drive if you have consumed alcohol.
