Nick Walker has already had a setback in 2023 when he injured his hamstring at the last moment and could not compete in the Mr Olympia. Even after that, he did not let these setbacks bog him down and still went to the expo and greeted his fan and bodybuilder friends. The 29-year-old bodybuilding icon has entered the New Year 2024 with new hopes which have started to gain momentum.

Despite the hamstring injury, he was still working out even when he was in the wheelchair and now when he is out of it, it seems like Walker was never injured. His latest workout video of the last lap before he finishes the exercise was surprising owing to the deadlift he was engaging in.

The video uploaded on Walker’s Instagram showed him with a deadlift bar and two plates on either side while the 277 lbs bodybuilder did some reps for the day. His biceps and back muscles were popping out and his veiny arms were visible as well. The Mutant wrote the caption, “Ending the back day with some rack dead’s, (directly right below the knee). I know you guys are only seeing 2 plates. Prob thinking “wtf, is that it.” However, he explained that he was not deadlifting more weight because it was at the end of the workout and the end is always extremely controlled.

Walker did two sets of 10 to 12 reps of his back exercises, and that was how he concluded the day. As he continues to get back on track, there is no doubt that his legs are getting back to where they were before. Earlier, as soon as he recovered from the hamstring injury, he had announced how he was starting his leg workout again. However, he was definitely taking it a little easier than usual.
