In his recent newsletter, he focused on how sleeping time is crucial and also revealed that if someone follows a simple 5-minute routine before they retire for the day, they can have a better and improved memory.

Arnold Schwarzenegger recommends an evening brain-dump

Through his latest newsletter, Schwarzenegger tried depicting how a person can have a better memory by simply recording their thoughts for only five minutes. The bodybuilder wrote, “Set a five-minute timer before you sleep and write down what’s on your mind and things you don’t want to forget.”

Schwarzenegger suggested how brain dumping often helps in a better sleeping process as well. Hence, Arnie also talked about how it accelerates falling asleep. He said, “Not only does the evening “brain dump” help strengthen your memory for the next day, but the research suggests it can help you fall asleep more easily.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger has never hesitated to explain the significance of sleep in one’s life. Understanding that it is hard for people who stay up late to make drastic changes in their sleeping time, the former bodybuilder also suggested a tiny change in one’s habits.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s receding bedtime method

Through one of his newsletters, Schwarzenegger had once pointed out how a person can slowly yet gradually become an early sleeper from a night owl. His process included sleeping only 15 minutes every week and that would make significant changes in the longer run. He noted, “If you typically stay up late, try to push your bedtime back by 15 minutes per week. We’re not talking about significant changes. Remember, the results were established by moving sleep back just two hours. And it’s possible that even one hour earlier would lead to benefits.”
