Martyn Ford’s take on Cold Therapy
In a recent episode on the podcast called ‘Escape your limits’, Martyn Ford was asked about his experience with Cold Therapy. He answered, “I’m still trying to think if it’s worked. Everytime I’ve got it home, I’ve got a great setup. I’ve got I got a sauna, I’ve got a nice bath, I’ve got a red light therapy, I’ve got I’ve got pretty much everything you can get hold of.”
He expresses his distress for the failure of it. Even after doing all the possible research of doing it correctly as it is a proven method approved by the legends Mark Wahlberg and Joe Rogan, it somehow seems to not work for the scariest man in the world! He adds, “I still can’t find a happy space where I do it get out and I don’t end up with a cold the next day.”

Martyn Ford goes on to express how Cold Therapy has been nothing but a source of entertainment and time waste for him. Although he enjoys immersing himself in the water, it barely gives him any results and that is why he doesn’t choose or advise it. In the initial stages of the video, he even shared a weird sleep proportion related to his diet.
The bizarre relationship between Martin Ford’s sleep and diet
Upon being asked if he took anything to sleep better, he said, “No I don’t, I don’t. I’ve never, I mean I’ve tried bits and pieces, I’ve never tried anything that’s like not off the shelf sleeping-wise because I’ve heard horror stories about sleeping tablets and so I’ve never wanted to go down that route.” Despite having tried all kinds of other supplementation, he said “Nothing works for me.”

He further expresses that when he is in the initial stages of dieting, not too strict, he sleeps brilliantly, but when he is bulking, he happens to have a disturbed sleep. He says, “Even though my eyes are shut, my body is still awake.” That is one of the reasons why Martyn Ford gains somewhat irritable behavior when he’s on a diet.
