Larry Wheels is known for his unimaginable strength in the powerlifting community. Despite a troubled childhood, the 28-year-old lifted weights at the gym and built an illustrative career. However, a perfect story is rare, and Wheels is often transparent about his shortcomings. 

The powerlifter appeared on the Straight Outta The Lair show and discussed various facets of his life with his fans. In a shocking revelation, Wheels admitted to his struggle with se* addiction.

The bodybuilding community is not a foreigner to the steroids used to improve muscle gains. Many elite bodybuilders have resorted to PEDs to showcase a Greek God-like physique. Larry Wheels also falls into the same category. The ace power-lifter once confessed to PED usage since the age of 16.

The 28-year-old had to face severe repercussions for such usage. He revealed that ‘Trenhad affected his mental health greatly and led to a wide range of mood swings. Despite giving up on such a lifestyle, the athlete confessed to doing TRT for the rest of his life. Now, he opened up about a side effect of TRT (testosterone replacement therapy).

Speaking about his se* addiction, Wheels recalled, “I found a way to blow all my money on se* addiction, by like five figures a day.”  

Calling his addiction “worse”, the power-lifter blamed it on TRT. “Truth is, when you’re on TRT, your libido is through the roof,” he added in the podcast. Earlier, Wheels dropped a sad message to his fans that he is suffering from a life-threatening disease.

The fitness community is often dismayed by the bodybuilders on steroids. The arena is not devoid of young bodybuilders dying from stroke and other complications. Despite the risk associated, the athletes continue PEDs to claim prestigious titles.

Wheels have been another athlete who, despite making it to the top of his sport, was diagnosed with a life-threatening health issue. A month ago, the champion posted a message claiming he has Rhabdomyolysis. It is a condition in which muscle tissue gets released into the blood flow.
