The legendary bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman openly declared his favorite. Notably, now the IFBB pro coach has also shared his prediction.

Recently, Greg Doucette, on his YouTube channel, uploaded a video regardless of Olympia’s prediction. Where he talked about his favorite athlete to win. The name he announced was shocking because it was none other than Coleman’s favorite. The reasoning behind this choice is because of his remarkable performance last year. This former bodybuilder believed that the runner-up of last year had a strong chance of claiming the title this year.

Greg Doucette revealed his favorite for Mr. Olympia 2023

Doucette predicted that Derek Lunsford had a great chance of winning. He competed in the 212 division and in 2022, he competed in the Men’s Open division and secured second place. Doucette said that he has more possibility than anybody because he had a great physique last year too, but now he’s been solely working out for this specifically open division.

The 48-year-old fitness coach stated that Lunsford would get the all-first place votes, and he was going to win by landslide and will get the perfect score. “He’s going to quite literally dominate blow away the competition you’re going to see Derek this year,” Says Doucette.

Coleman chose Lunsford to claim the title

Coleman got really upset with last year’s result of Mr. O, he had high hopes that Lunsford would win. However, he’s rooting for him in every possible way. In his recent Q&A video, Coleman advocated for Lunsford even before the 2022 prestigious event.

The result of last year’s Mr. O was shocking to him. Coleman thought Derek would give tough competition to Big Ramy.
