Regardless, 4-time consecutive winner Chris Bumstead claims that he’s going to win this time again.

In the recent video, shared by Olympia TV to their YouTube channel along with Terrick El Guindy, Renato Cariani, and Coach Rubens after Ramon’s victory at the Arnold Classic Ohio 2023. During this interview, Bumstead disclosed his intentions for the Mr. Olympia 2023.

Chris Bumstead’s confidence over winning the title again

The panel discussed the Men’s Open division. Where Bumstead revealed what was in his mind for the upcoming event. He was very clear about his vision. He spoke with so much confidence and announced that he was going to win the title this year as well. He already dominated the Arnold Classic this year.

The 28-year-old, in a very poised and calm voice, said, “I do [believe they are all fighting for second place]. It was Urs and Ramon against each other at the Arnold and I think it’s going to be them battling for it again at the next Olympia..”. At the Arnold Classic, they both fought fiercely. They pushed their limits to win the title. Chris believes that it is going to happen again during the Sandow trophy. But this time they’re going to fight for the second position.

Additionally, He added to his quote,

“And I just have to beat myself.” His statement reflects his positive mindset and self-improvement. According to him, the only person who can beat him is himself. He just wanted to get better than the previous year.

He even tried to increase his height to win

The bodybuilder has come a long way. His preparation for the upcoming event is insane. Bodybuilding itself has a lot of rules and criteria to compete. One has to fulfill all that to win. They have to showcase their ripped and monstrous body and pose to impress the judges. He admitted that he once tried to increase his height to get the advantage of being a taller contestant. According to him, he even went to see a chiropractor to increase his height. Whether he did right or wrong, people are still curious to know who’s going to snatch the trophy.
