Bodybuilding champion Ronnie Coleman won eight Mr. Olympia titles. Even though he retired and unfortunately is dependent on a wheelchair, Coleman still is one of the GOATs. Despite the obvious and astounding pain he remains in, the former champion always seems to cheer people up with his “Yeah, buddy” chant. He’s 59 years old and still goes to events and exercises at the gym every day. Recently his training with another legendary bodybuilder has caught the eyes of the bodybuilding community.

Coleman, who won the Mr. Olympia title eight times, made a big mark in bodybuilding before he retired in 2007. He’s only the second bodybuilder, along with Lee Haney, to win the Sandow trophy eight times. People often call him “The King” of bodybuilding because he’s so famous in the sport. Even after retiring, he’s still involved in bodybuilding events as a guest or even a judge sometimes. But this little collaboration, well, let’s just say there was nothing little about it

Ronnie Coleman shared a post on his Instagram account where he is training with Phil Heath. The caption of the post was “15 Olympia Titles 🏆
It’s always great getting together with my boy @philheath!! This was our first time ever training together but I’m for sure it won’t be our last…video of our back and bicep workout in the @panattaofficial gym dropping real soon on my YouTube channel…YEAH BUDDY”

After the big event at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, Derek Lunsford won the Sandow trophy. Last year’s winner, Hadi Choopan, came in second place. Samson ‘The Nigerian” Dauda, who had a lot of people excited about him, got the bronze medal. It turns out that Ronnie Coleman’s prediction was not only right, but his reasons were also accurate.

Before the competition, the famous bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman said that Samson Dauda had made some impressive progress in the last two years. Coleman also liked how Dauda had improved his physical condition. However, despite these improvements, Coleman didn’t believe that Dauda would win the Arnold Classic Championship. While many people thought Hadi Choopan would win again, Coleman had a different opinion.

Ronnie Coleman’s right prediction

The bodybuilding legend said Hadi Choopan won in 2022 because he was in really good shape. But Coleman thought that this year, especially Derek Lunsford, would catch up and be competitive. It turns out that the 59-year-old guessed exactly right, as Hadi Choopan didn’t have a big advantage in being in great shape this year.
