He retired after winning the Shaw Classic with 96 points. In Event Five of the show, the Max Hummer Tire Deadlift, Brian Shaw pulled off 1050 lbs deadlift. Despite winning the event, Shaw refused to accept the prize money and spread it to other competitors.
