Dutch bodybuilder William Bonac has been in the bodybuilding industry for more than eight years and has been widely recognized for his hard work. Not only does he have a shredded and muscular physique but also has a resilient mindset. However, he has now decided to take some time off and seems to be in a dilemma. The IFBB pro who is 41 years old has gone through challenges like having a kidney issue but never gave up on his passion for bodybuilding due to these ailments.?

In a March 6, 2023 Instagram post, Bonac reflected that he finished seventh place at the Arnold Classic 2023. However, he was determined that he would return in 2024 and take some time off for the rest of this year. The champion again recently uploaded an Instagram post regarding his grief, and thoughts about coming back or retiring from the industry. A legendary bodybuilder came to his rescue and said words of encouragement.?

In the recent Instagram post, the athlete is seen working out his humongous biceps, while the song Victory by Florees plays in the background. The video was accompanied by a heartfelt letter where the bodybuilding champion talks about the different thoughts he has about his passion. He found a huge support from Phil Heath, who commented under the same video saying, ?Happy for you and am always here to talk. You have my support, Brother.? But why did the legend have to console Bonac?

Bonac starts by narrating that it has been hard for him to switch from competing to spending his regular life with his family. He narrated his dilemma saying, ? It has been very hard for me to switch from competing at the highest level to a regular life with my family to focus on life after Bodybuilding.? He admitted that since March he has been battling with his thoughts of whether to retire or come back for Mr. Olympia in 2024. He also talked about the positives of not training for the competition and the peace that he found with exercise and diet, which was not forced.

However, Bonac also pointed out the issue and said, ?Seeing myself downsizing is not an issue to me but seeing myself not on stage at this year’s O haunts me, knowing that I still got some in the tank, a burning desire deep inside of me. I love bodybuilding it?s my passion it?s everything I know.? The IFBB? pro is in a dilemma and does not want to leave his passion, but also does not want to ruin his health. This is where the seven-time Mr. Olympia winner Heath’s words of encouragement lifted Bonac’s spirits. Bonac had previously hinted at his retirement as well.

William Bonac talks about his probable retirement

As?per his earlier Instagram post, Bonac was displaying his rugged and jacked physique. He claimed that this was just a few weeks out from the 2022 Mr. Olympia competition. However, the lengthy caption ended with a very surprising note where he revealed that he might comply with all his haters, and retire from the industry.

His caption read? “Or just do my nah see yours, a favor (hater) & just 4 for retirement??? The Ghana native is still in the same dilemma and might be contemplating retirement.
