The five-time Mr. Olympia in the Classic Physique division, Chris Bumstead, is dominating the stage with his insane physique. But in recent times there has been a new wave in the division. Wesley Vissers, aka the Dutch Oak, has turned everyone’s head after giving an exceptional performance at the Arnold Classic 2024. 

Vissers has won both the Arnold Classic Ohio and the UK, defeating the former champion Ramon Dino. Now, the bodybuilder is all set to step into the Mr. Olympia arena and give Bumstead a tough run for his sixth title. Signifying his intentions, Vissers posted something on his Instagram, that had gave signs of what was to come as the Super Bowl of bodybuilding approaches. 

Will Vissers be the next Mr. O?

The Dutch Oak recently uploaded a short video displaying the poses he did at the Arnold Classic UK. He engaged in the three-quarter back biceps pose and the side chest pose. The Arnold Classic Champion also did his most iconic pose, which fans had then talked about resembling seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In the video, one could see Vissers continuing to flex his impressive physique, with his favorite poses being the most muscular and the front lat spread. Vissers also did a back double bicep pose, showcasing a greater level of conditioning and detailing on the stage. On the other hand at the Arnold Classic, the Austrian Oak even took a selfie with the Dutch Oak while he was performing on stage, a big flex for any athlete in the sport. 

After defeating the former Arnold Classic Champion Ramon Dino, who was one of Bumstead’s toughest competitors at the Olympia, Vissers is in high spirits and looking forward to the event scheduled to be held in October 2024. Vissers’s video ended up being a treat to fans’ eyes and many of them even declared the Dutch Oak the next Mr. Olympia winner.

Fans call Vissers “Cbum killer“

One fan made bold predictions after witnessing the Arnold Classic Champion’s performance and commented, “Next classic Mr. OLYMPIA.” Another even claimed that Vissers is setting new standards and this might be the future, giving a straight warning to the five-time Mr. Olympia, commenting, “Cbum better watch out this could be the new look the judges want to see.” While one of the other fans gave Vissers the title “Cbum killer.”

The comment section was filled with Dino’s and Bumstead’s GIFs, and after seeing this, one fitness enthusiast had a request. “Someone create a Wesley GIF already please,” they wrote. Another fan made a prediction and wrote, “You will be the first to dethrone Cbum.” An admirer reminisced about the Arnie moment and commented, “Arnold taking a selfie while you’re on stage, is another level of flex.”
