Despite the massively muscular physique that Nick ‘the Mutant’ Walker has, he completely dumps the idea of taking in junk to get bigger. According to the bodybuilding beast, he keeps his calorie count in check and ensures that his body is provided with all the necessary nutrients for its growth.

Now, in one of their conversations on Jay Cutler’s podcast, Serbian fitness coach Milos Sarcev agreed with Walker’s approach to gaining weight and muscles. Here’s why Sarcev disregards the idea of getting bigger by just gulping down more and more food.

In the recent episode of the ‘Cutler Cast’, Walker, Sarcev, and Jay Cutler were caught in a candid conversation. As they went on talking, Nick Walker mentioned how he hated the idea of dirty bulking, a pretty famous method among many looking to attain fitness goals these days.

Adding to Walker’s point, Sarcev said, “There’s just a lame excuse for everybody. Eat big to get big off-season and all that sh*t.” The bodybuilder also stressed the fact that he negated this notion during his entire career. He never considered the time period of the off-season and preferred being in shape all year long.

Showcasing his preference, Sarcev said, “You have an allowance of so many proteins, carbs, calories, right? Why would I eat junk, why would I choose calories over nutrients?” According to these bodybuilders, there is no doubt that slow progress is always more sustainable than taking shortcuts.

Further in the video, Cutler tried convincing Nick Walker to participate in the Arnold Classic this year. However, it looks like the Mutant already has his priorities sorted.
