To dominate any sport globally, any athlete must undergo a grueling routine. Such laborious training often leaves athletes with numerous injuries and physical pain. But legends don’t give up despite the pain. One such iconic figure who brought pro wrestling into the limelight is Hulk Hogan.

The WWE Hall of Famer sustained numerous injuries and surgeries to bring glory to the sport during his prime. However, in his late sixties, the supreme wrestler is focusing on his health. Men’s Health YouTube channel came up with a Gym & Fridge video where Hogan gave a glimpse of his diet. He spilled beans on the essentials and non-essentials of his diet.

Sugar is not included in Hulk Hogan’s diet

 In the video, Hulk Hogan Shows Off His Gym & Fridge, the 69-year-old detailed his daily diet routine for his loving fans. The host in the video questioned Hogan, “So what meals do you have every day?” ‘Mr. Nanny’s fame replied, “Well, breakfast is a quick hit,” and further added, “So it’s a cup of yogurt, it’s a banana, coffee, of course, organic coffee.” 

Nut milk, berries, yogurts, and protein shakes occupied prominent spots in the 69-year-old’s fridge. While showcasing the fridge, Hulk Hogan openly discussed the dietary habits of his fellow pro-wrestlers, candidly sharing his perspective. He stated, “People didn’t talk about protein back in the day as much as they do now. Back in the hardcore wrestling days, people talked about the money and the miles… And who could drink the most beer!”

For lunch, the pro-wrestling star will have chicken, steak, sashimi, or raw tune while he repeats the same for dinner. The host followed Hogan’s reply with another question, “When did you drop sugar?To this Hogan gave a firm reply, “When I realized it caused a whole bunch of inflammation in my joints.” He eliminated the daily essential in his journey toward health. Having suffered many injuries and health problems, Hulk Hogan is now focusing only on living a healthy life.

Hogan is known for his Leg Drops but eventually, they have resulted in a painful after years. Over the course of three decades, performing such stunts caused damage to his hips and spine, ultimately requiring several surgeries.

My tailbone is bent from landing on my ass, 400 times a year,” he confessed, per The Week. He has scoliosis and arthritis. He was even seen walking with the help of a cane earlier.

The legendary pro wrestler endured the severe impact of his sport, as he persevered through numerous significant injuries over his four-decade-long career. Hogan’s legendary body slam on Andre the Giant during Wrestlemania III stands out as one of the most memorable incidents. Unfortunately, this powerful move took a toll on Hogan’s body, resulting in torn biceps and back muscles. Alongside these injuries, he also faced a range of other issues, with a predominant impact on his bones and joints.

He said, “I went for a back surgery and it turned into ten back surgeries. Both knees were replaced, both hips were replaced. A couple of surgeries on my face from getting my orbital socket broken a couple of times…” Having undergone so many surgeries, the wrestling champion never really gave up on his life. In fact, he started living a healthy routine to improve his condition, which is quite inspiring.
