, andNick Walker, also known as ‘The Mutant’, debuted in Mr. Olympia in 2021. He bagged the 5th position in the competition and was obviously unhappy with the results. In 2022, he competed again and he said, “I’m very happy I took third. But I think as an overall package, I think I could have been second. Me, Derek, and Hadi will probably be battling this out for years unless Samson comes out of the woodwork or if Andrew nails it one time. I do believe us three will be there for quite some time.”

The Mutant now has his eyes set on taking over the title of Mr. Olympia from Hadi Choopan as all the efforts he put in for his off-season have gone underway. In a recent podcast show, Walker also revealed his diet and plans for winning the title. He said, “I feel great. Now that recovery is better, oh my God, fantastic.”  He has been sharing all his updates regarding his prep on his social media platform. His recent post put up a refute on the Internet. Let us see what happened.

Nick Walker, the contender for the upcoming Mr. Olympia, featured on the official Instagram page of Mr. Olympia LLC. Fans saw him posing with Jay Cutler, Dan Soloman, and Jake Wood at the opening of the Torture Gym. He captioned the post as “Olympia contender Nick Walker stopped by the Las Vegas Grand Opening of Torture Gym. His sights are set on Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford. Is this the next Mr O?”

Nick Walker has been prepping nonstop to get a transformation good enough to defeat all the other athletes on the stage of Mr. Olympia this year. He started off with the 20-week prep and intensified his diet and training at the 12-week mark. In an interview, when asked about his prep, he said, “I usually always start the prep 20 weeks out which is kind of just like getting in the groove. Okay, not necessarily strict exactly but this is kind of where we’re headed, 16 weeks out, we dry up a little more, and then you get to the 12-week mark, and that’s when it’s really game time.”

He further added, “Like I said, we’re eating enough where it’s going to put me in a surplus to give me the energy I need to get stronger and make improvements in the gym that need it but not just blow up everywhere. I don’t need that anymore. I think that it keeps the waist obviously a little tighter. It just helps.” However, despite all the efforts made to win the title, fans think otherwise about the mutant. Let us find out what they have to say about his physique.

Fans not satisfied with Walker’s transformation

Fans brutally criticized Walker’s physique, especially for his upper body proportion, just like he was criticized earlier for his midsection. The highest concern this time was his chest.

One of his followers commented on the post saying, “Nick seems to be hitting the juice pretty hard. He looks like he has ’round face’ a common side effect with steroids. To reach the level he has at the age he is, he’s must’ve done some serious damage to his heart and other vital organs. His chest is a definite problem from a competition point of view. Not a fan of his build. Looks like someone’s thrown lumps of clay at him and it becomes muscle. No flow and no muscle maturity.

Another comments, “I don’t know man I don’t like his look.. his chest his way too small. How much bigger do you think he can get his chest? He has even blockier abs than Roelly too.. lots of flaws, and needs lots of work. It would take Hany and Jay and some ingenious work to really bring Nick to true greatness.” Complimenting his arms but criticizing his overall physique, one of them says, “There aren’t many positives..He has good arms..But overall he looks pretty horrible” Questioning the aesthetics required for the stage, one of them says, “fact, and he’s fucking belly,is just huge. Where are the aesthetics, this is just pure ugly.”
