In his recent Instagram reel video, O’Gallagher called Tequila the healthiest of all alcoholic beverages and talked about how it has high amounts of agavins which have probiotic properties. On the other hand, O’Gallagher also went on to advise that he only advocated for “a couple of drinks” and cautioned against going overboard. He also pointed out that non-viable probiotics, which are seen in Tequila, can have several other health benefits. He then instructed that if one plans to get some of the drink, they must make sure to get mezcal or 100% pure agave tequila.

However, this piece of advice did not sit right with the fitness world. O’Gallagher was highly criticized for spreading such counsel and advocating such wrong beliefs.
