29-year-old bodybuilder Nick Walker had to withdraw his participation from the 2023 Mr. Olympia at the 11th hour. Due to his recent hamstring tear, it was hard for him to cope with daily life, let alone the competition. The prep and the pressure of Mr. Olympia on top did not really suit his situation, and the Mutant had to drop out.

However, Walker also revealed soon after that he will make a strong comeback to the stage. The 2021 Arnold Classic winner claimed the stage of New York Pro 2024 as the fitting stage to show his skills and improved physique. When his fandom perceived this, it instantly stirred up the internet and brought about a wave of excitement for the upcoming event.

Nick Walker’s physique before New York Pro

The Mutant had previously announced that the missed chance at Mr. Olympia 2023 certainly gave him another reason to make a stronger comeback. Thus, he did not pay attention to all the negativity he was subjected to after his withdrawal from the show last year. Instead, he started training for the future. And he declared, “I’ll see everybody at the New York Pro. Y’all better be ready for it, because, you know, I will be.”

Yet another fan remarked that he was blessed to be born at the same time frame where they can witness bodybuilders like Walker’s progress by saying, “What a time to be alive to see these incredible athletes push themselves to a whole new monster/mutant level.” One of them also suggested how shocked they were despite being his fan for a long time, “Always been a fan but it’s SHOCKING how much improvements you make. Wouldn’t have thought possible.”
