Bagging the title of Mr. Olympia is one of the most significant accomplishments bodybuilders can think of professionally. However, there lies a personal life that seems to have been shining brightly for the two Mr. Olympia title winners of this season. As IFBB pro-Coach Hany Rambod extensively talks about his trainee, Chris Bumstead, the winner of the 2023 Men’s Open Mr. Olympia shares his own insights.

Chris Bumstead and Courtney King have declared their pregnancy and the upcoming addition to the family. Amidst Mr. Olympia’s preparations, another bodybuilder, Derek Lunsford, who had previously won the 2021 Mr. Olympia in 212 lbs division also shared the good news of their pregnancy as well. As both of the champs are eagerly awaiting their babies’ arrival, coach Rambod focuses on the matter.

In the latest interview video posted by Evogen Nutrition, coach Hany Rambod was featured in a Q&A session with Derek Lunsford. After talking about how CBum’s prep was going for Mr. Olympia, Rambod pointed out something very interesting. He stated how CBum and Courtney King are pregnant. In reply, Derek Lunsford said, “What a blessing man that’s crazy.” He also insinuated that he had messaged Bumstead after hearing the news.

Furthermore, Rambod also joked about how two of the champions were ready to become a father amidst all the pressure from Mr. Olympia’s prep. He commented, “Ladies and gentlemen, you know we always throw in a little extra when you check the box that, would you like to have a child during this prep along with trying to win a title, and they both pressed yes.” As the humorous conversation went on, Rambod also recalled how Bumstead reacted.

In the video, Rambod also stated, “It’s funny man, like I remember when he heard that you guys were having a kid. And he’s like, well I want to have one yeah he’s like I want one of those.” The coach reflected how CBum almost wanted to have a baby just as anyone else wished to get a car for themselves. He commented, “It’s like somebody who gets a car right and you’re like oh you know you know he got a Porsche GT3 right”.

The bodybuilding community is as excited as the bodybuilders are for the arrival of their new family members. Now that the pressure of Mr. Olympia is over, they can have a little relief as well as provide more time for the baby. The odds of two Mr. Olympia champions getting pregnant has not really shocked the internet, but instead filled them with overwhelming emotions.
