Derek Lunsford managed to bag the title of Mr. Olympia 2023 with his exceptionally huge back. He created history on the stage by becoming the first-ever bodybuilder to win titles in two different categories. He dethroned Hadi Choopan and became a beacon of inspiration for people in the bodybuilding community.

The most astonishing fact and the primal source of motivation was the fact that Derek Lunsford achieved the entire transformation in just a year. However, he is currently in his off-season and still looks perfect. But here’s what he thinks about his physique at present.

Mr. Beast, a significant online celebrity, took to his official Instagram account and shared a video demonstrating the aesthetic physique of Derek Lunsford and his reaction to the sight. However, while he asks the bodybuilder to pose and flex for his physique, Lunsford says, “We’re depleting right now. So right now we’re kind of at our worst.”

However, he still encourages Lunsford to show off his physique and they come up with a challenge that if he wins, they’ll work out together. Lunsford took off his shirt and struck a few poses and it boggled Mr. Beast. He said, “Holy sh*t. That is crazy.” Lunsford even demonstrated his huge back.

Well, it is safe to say that what Derek Lunsford thinks is his worst, is taking the breath away of people on the Internet. While the entire fitness community appreciated Lunsford for coming around with such a defined transformation, he gave a lot of the credit to Ronnie Coleman for his win.

After having won the title of Mr. Olympia 2023, he came together with the King of bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman for a training session. During the workout, he said that Coleman played a very significant role in his win. He opened up about how he was promised that after the event, they would work out together and this was what motivated him to give his best.
