The transformation journey in the world of bodybuilding, often comes out as taxing, despite the glamorous life that tags along. Even after solidifying his reputation as one of the best bodybuilders in the realm and winning the title of Mr. Olympia seven times, the legendary Bodybuilder, who is often regarded as The Gift, has been paying a price.

Phil Heath competed in the Mr. Olympia in 2017 while dealing with two major hernia surgeries. His wife confirmed that he was just a day away from a horrific fatal intestinal strangulation and his belly button was more visible because his small intestine was inside of it, pushing it forward right underneath the skin. However, the legendary athlete is now in the process of speedy recovery and has discovered a new exercise to overcome his problems.

The Gift of Bodybuilding recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a story where he was seen excitedly talking about a miraculous workout that has been helping him through his troubled journey post-surgery. After the surgeries, his core was completely deactivated, and things did not work out for him, despite all the peptides and care taken.

Phil Heath, in the video, says, “So when I talk about needing to get Pilates done, two days in a row, here’s why. After having two hernia surgeries, one in 2017, one in 2018, things weren’t firing correctly.” Evidently enough, Heath has indeed been making a lot of progress lately.

The legendary bodybuilder is clearly missing his super ripped days of the Mr. Olympia prep and it is evident from one of his recent stories as well.
