At the onset of becoming a parent, Chris Bumstead joined the podcast of Canadian psychologist and author, Dr. Jordan Peterson and talked about several important phases of his life. This included his responsibilities and feelings which are slowly transforming as he is soon to be a father. In the same context, CBum also revealed how his life with his family is, even when he is in the middle of a hectic schedule.

Marrying Courtney King less than a year ago, Chris Bumstead has mostly kept his family affairs away from the world. Bumstead affirmed Peterson that between him and his wife, there are no secrets or things that the family hides from each other. Describing King’s presence in his life, he said, “She has definitely taken full responsibility for where she needs to come in, and I think the biggest thing that comes into my mind is we don’t leave any monsters under the bed.”

The bodybuilder further added that even if he gets into a crappy mood and has a bit of an attitude, he cannot get away with it. To him and his family, he needs to get himself straight. He noted, “She’s done great at holding me very accountable. She’s no pushover I don’t get away with anything really if I come in with a bit of an attitude or even talk about making me better as a bodybuilder too. If I’m a little Snappy because I’m dieting or tired she won’t have it she won’t let it go she’s like she holds me to a high standard.”

Bumstead has always set very high standards for himself. From the time when he was a kid and had a speech disorder to becoming everyone’s favorite bodybuilder, CBum has always lived up to the expectations people have set for him.
