Realizing this Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen made a shocking confession about her lifestyle. 

After Bündchen recently teamed up with herbal supplement line Gaia Herbs, she explained in a panel celebrating the partnership about her fitness and wellness routine. Amidst many other things that she stated, she also revealed a secret of her lifestyle that might come as a shock to many.

Being the highest-paid model in the world, Bündchen recently bought a mansion in Florida for a whopping $9.1 Million. In the surprising confession that she made recently, she revealed that meditation acts as a coping mechanism for her that helped her fight mental battles back in her teenage years. “In my early 20s I had severe panic attacks and depression,” she recalled. In order to ensure that this stays in control, she decided to quit smoking and consuming alcohol.

“I meditate everyday, I exercise every day,” she said. “I wasn’t so good in my 20s or my teens, I realized my body is my temple and I really want to enjoy it. So for me, moving my body is huge,” Bündchen stated. Continuing further, she disclosed, “I haven’t drank alcohol in over two years and it’s amazing how much more clear [I feel].”

The supermodel further stated that she adopted a healthier lifestyle since then. Her life changed massively ever since she started meditating. But how? Let’s take a look.

The 43-year-old further pointed out that changing habits and lifestyles can surely be overwhelming, but she never saw it as a burden and instead thought of it as ‘tools’ that help her get through. “My life changed completely. It was like a rebirth,” she explained. 

Giving a little insight about her fitness journey, she admitted, “Instead of waking up with two cigarettes and a mocha frappuccino with whipped cream, I would wake up and go for a jog and come back and do an hour of breath work and yoga. Everything changed.”
