Janek dealt with a lot of traumatic incidents in his journey to recovery. One of these incidents even landed him in a coma for several days, which shook his core. He had to get immediate surgery as a result of one of these hospital visits, during which he experienced a medical emergency. “But now that I got my transplant, I feel like I’ve got a new life,” stated Janek. Janek’s story resonates with a lot of individuals who are battling or have had past traumatic experiences with life-threatening illnesses. Amidst many other topics that the duo discussed, Janek revealed the stark difference between older vs. new-age athletes.

Janek’s amazement with modern athletes

In a clip that Janek recently shared on his Instagram account from the podcast, he expresses his disbelief regarding the sheer size that bodybuilders and gym-goers carry these days. “Some fu***ng monsters out there and I’m like ‘holy sh*t,’” said Janek in the clip.

What is the most shocking for Janek is the fact that modern athletes are often able to do it without relying on PEDs and steroids. He pointed out that the size that athletes used to carry after using anabolic is now being achieved by many new-age athletes without touching any compounds. “And it’s the shift now, majority is raw now. And I’m like the fu*k they living that raw.”
