20-year-old Svein Falzonein has a rollercoaster story for you. At 16 he decided that he was tired of wasting time and fast forward to the present day, the Genetic Anomaly is the best hope Malta has when it comes to bodybuilding. He is aware of the path he has chosen and the sacrifices that it will need along the way. He knows the physical and mental challenges and does not shy away from them. Falzonein is already hitting social media to make a mark on the industry and the Maltese youth’s videos are already going viral. 

In a recent podcast with Nyle Nyaga, he opened up about his life, his decision to be involved in bodybuilding, and the biggest hurdles with eating disorders he had to go through. 

Svein Falzonein and his struggle with eating disorder

The hour-long video delved into the depths of the bodybuilding sensation’s life and only at the age of 20, he has already faced a lot of challenges. The bodybuilder who wants to establish himself like 21-year-old Sam Sulek shared a story about his eating habits and the pressure he gave himself. He said, “While she (his mother) was wiping the vomit, I was eating the shi** I threw up that was still on the plate…I am fu**ing crazy.”

To be more elaborate, he used to force-feed himself to bulk up 3 years ago when he was a natural. The 20-year-old also admitted that “you have to be a bit crazy to force-feed yourself.” So, one day when he was force-feeding pasta to himself, he knew he could not continue the last portion of it but ate it anyway. Unfortunately, he vomited the food immediately and the walls of his room were covered by it as well.

His sweet mother, who is his number 1 supporter, came in and reprimanded him but cleaned the walls. However, unbeknownst to her, her son who was afraid of failure, ate the discarded thrown-up pasta that was on the plate. However, this perseverance and the ‘crazy’ streak in him has now made him eligible to compete on international grounds.

The 20-year-old says he is bigger than Sam Sulek

He wants to be an IFBB pro in the future according to his Instagram profile. Falzonein shares his exercise, diet, and posing routine on Instagram, and previously while posing for another video, he asked a confident question, “Bigger than Sam Sulek? I’m 20”. 

The fans of Sam Sulek were quick to reprimand him but they failed to notice another caption which said, “@sam_sulek Wanna be like Naruto and Sasuke?” He quoted the famous friendship/rivalry between two anime characters from Naruto. His upper body and quadriceps, are definitely humongous and can match the likes of Sulek.
