CBum will compete in this year’s Mr. Olympia for his fifth title. Meanwhile, the bodybuilder appeared on a podcast to discuss his winning strategy. The 28 -year-old bodybuilder once again opened up about his thoughts on having a champion attitude for competing.

The 4x Mr. Olympia champion sat with Chris Williamson to unravel the secret of winning. While opening up about his vulnerability and fears, CBum also revealed that he does not possess a killer mindset like Michael Jordan. 

I could have a thousand bullet points under Champion mentality, but I used to look up to people, and I still do like Michael Jordan, but that’s not f****ng me,” he confessed to the host. Substantiating his thoughts, he said, “He wanted to kill everyone, and f****ng took stuff personally everything, with a battle to the death of being the best and like I don’t feel like that, “referring to the iconic basketball player.

The bodybuilding icon’s uniqueness lies in that he makes his own rules for being a champion. “I can still be a champ, there’s no rules to being a champion, ” said CBum with conviction. He further added that winners make their own rules. Earlier, he pointed out another difference between him and the NBA legend. 

Chris Bumstead resonates more with his fans with a relatable approach.

Earlier CBum appeared on the ‘Don’t Be Sour’ podcast for a candid chat with Maxx Chewning. In the episode, CBum agreed to be different from hardcore bodybuilders, which helped him to be more appealing to the masses.

Like Michael Jordan. People love him, and it’s so fascinating, but he is so unrelatable, ” he opined. However, he agreed that he does not possess such a killer mindset.
