If there is one thing that no one can disagree with, it is that Arnold Schwarzenegger surely knows how to entertain a person. Be it in his bodybuilding career, or his ventures into Hollywood, Schwarzenegger has always managed to captivate the audience through his charm and entertainment. People often resonate with the words coming out of his mouth and he never fails to entertain his fans. 

Growing up in a small village in Austria, Schwarzenegger always dreamt of making it to the big screen. Films back in the day were often comprised of over-the-top action scenes. Consuming the content he made back in the day, Schwarzenegger firmly believes that there is no such concept as ‘over-the-top’ action. Recently, he revealed the most ridiculous scene he has ever been part of in his career.

One of the most liked movies that Schwarzenegger acted in was Commando, which was released in 1985. Playing the role of John Matrix, Schwarzenegger played the lead role along with Rae Dawn Chong, Vernon Wells, and Dan Hedaya. The movie earned a whopping $57.5 Million. It also had the highest kill count of all his movies, where in the final scene, he had 74 kills.

The action in the movie was so unrealistic at some points, but Schwarzenegger admitted to wanting them to be as over-the-top as possible. He disclosed, “I wanted to cut the guy’s arm off and beat him to death with his own arm, and I wanted one of the guards to come pee on me in the bushes.”

Replying to a question on Reddit, Arnold shared his views about the scenes in the movie. The user asked, “Arnold, in your opinion what is your most ridiculous scene you’ve read or shot for a movie?” In response, Schwarzenegger named the scene from Commando

“Probably the Commando scene everyone knows where I kill everyone, but you have to understand that it could have been even more over the top. I tried to get the producer and director to add scenes that were really over the top,” Arnold revealed.

Continuing further, he wrote, “They told me I needed to go meet with the head of the studio, and he told me to get the f**k out of his office. That’s why I always say too much is not enough.”
