The bodybuilding sport is synonymous with legendary bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronnie Coleman. While Schwarzenegger changed people’s perspective toward the sport through his Pumping Iron documentary, Coleman set the bodybuilding stage on fire with his incredibly ripped physique in the early 2000s. In 2023, the two icons came together to get some pumps at the ‘Mecca of Bodybuilding,’ Gold’s Gym in Venice.

Fans were treated to a workout session with 8x Mr. Olympia and 7x Mr. Olympia as they lifted weights. At the session, Arnold Schwarzenegger had a special request for ‘The King.’

The Austrian Oak’s peak conditioning during his prime fetched him seven Sandow trophies. Despite shifting gears to acting and politics, Arnie never stopped his contribution to bodybuilding. His Arnold Classic event and newsletter are testimony to this.

Despite being a bodybuilding legend, Arnie is charmed by fellow bodybuilding G.O.A.T. Ronnie Coleman. The King, who is wheelchair-bound, hits the gym to get an upper-body workout. He was lately associated with Arnie for a sweating session. After an intense workout, the 8-time Mr. Olympia was seen wiping his sweat from the seat of the machine.

Witnessing Coleman’s efforts to clean his sweat with a towel from the seat, Arnie states, “Don’t wipe it off! I want to use your sweat to get some power here.” This reflects the respect Arnie has for the 8x Mr. Olympia. Ronnie Coleman also once gave a glimpse of his affection for the Terminator actor.

He further praised the supreme aesthetics and conditioning of the Austrian Oak which were never replicated by any other bodybuilder in the sport’s history.
