Arnold Schwarzenegger is everywhere on the internet right now. Notably, the 75-year-old had not one but two big Netflix releases in a span of one month. And apart from all the celebrities from the entertainment world, Arnold’s all children, including Joseph Baena, were also present at the premiere of FUBAR. What caught everyone’s attention is Baena’s words of praise for his father, who has been the talk of the town.

Besides admiring how well made the show seemed to him, the 25-year-old commented on a never before seen side of his father that FUBAR explored to the fullest. Since making his Hollywood debut, Arnold has mostly portrayed the tough action hero. Earlier in his career, the bodybuilding legend used his physical presence to look nearly invincible on screen. At 75, the 80s action icon stuck to his roots with the action-packed series but also showed his fatherly side. Here’s how Baena felt about it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger played the tough guy with a soft heart

In his TV show debut, Schwarzenegger played a spy on the verge of retirement who gets called upon for one last mission. However, he finds out the agent he would be rescuing, is his daughter. In the True Lies-inspired action comedy, Schwarzenegger, his on-screen daughter, Monica Barbaro, and their team must work together to bring down a drug lord who is hell-bent on creating portable nukes.

Throughout its eight episodes, FUBAR fleshes out the father-daughter relationship. While a seasoned spy, Schwarzenegger also shows his vulnerable side and plays the protective father. When asked how Baena felt about Arnie’s character in the series, Jo highlighted the part where the Governator showed his fatherly side. “It’s always cute seeing his vulnerable, little fatherly side,” the 25-year-old said, according to Variety.

“I love it,” added the young actor. He also praised the show for its comic element. While people who attended the premiere watched the first episode, Baena predicted the show would be a massive success when it comes out on Netflix. His prediction turned out correct as FUBAR instantly topped the Netflix most-watched chart in America. Idolizing his father, the 25-year-old is following in his footsteps and would like to replicate the Terminator actor’s success.

Joseph Baena has multiple projects lined up

25-year-old Joseph Baena shares a passion for bodybuilding like his old man. While he doesn’t plan to compete, Baena wants to use his physique to land the leading man roles in Hollywood. Among the multiple projects he has lined up, Baena will star alongside Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman in Gunner.

The upcoming film stars Luke Hemsworth and Baena will feature as Wally, a sheriff’s deputy. He has also bagged the role of the male lead in Josh Webber’s upcoming film, Athena Saves Christmas, slated for release during the 2023 holiday season. However, only time will tell if Jo Baena can replicate his father’s success.
