Social media is a platform for great fitness videos as well as weird gym clips. Recently, the fitness world witnessed a clip reflecting how a teenager struggled to lift heavily and almost killed himself in the process.

Social media has witnessed the rise of fitness accounts and fitness influencers in the recent past. However, the bodybuilding world is not devoid of stories of death caused due to poor gym practices. So, netizens keep the balance intact by appreciating safe workout routines while openly criticizing gym stunts that could end up in an injury.

The latest video shared by the fitness channel, Generation Iron, reflects a young kid’s risky workout stunt. A teenager in a black workout outfit was seen squatting with heavy weights. However, he instantly lost his strength and struggled to keep the weights down. But neither there was a spotter for help nor racks to keep the weights.

So, he tried to get rid of the bar with heavy weights above the neck, which could end up in a serious injury. But with God’s grace, the boy was fine. However, it has been days since Justyn Vicky, a bodybuilding icon, lost his life in a similar incident. The channel captioned the post, “Stay safe out there guys. Happy Labor Day!” However, the online gym community was not pleased as they reacted to the video. 

Fans React to the teenager’s risky gym video

The online community can be credited for putting some sense into fitness freaks who try weird stuff with weights. After watching the video, a follower commented, “Videotaping your own death.” Reiterating the statement, another user followed up, “That’s how you die.” A fitness expert advised the boy, “Just use a spotter or weight bench next time,” for better safety.

So now it is a trend to kill yourself on camera and post it on social media for views,” lamented an irritated fan after witnessing the boy’s struggle. “Someone teach these kids how to bail before more people kill themselves,” prayed a fitness enthusiast after watching the video.
