Days before the Arnold Classic UK 2024, Samson Dauda sent shock waves through the bodybuilding community with his latest health update. Dauda had recently competed in the Arnold Classic 2024 and came in second, while Hadi Choopan claimed the title.

Now, in a post on Instagram, Bis and Tris have reported that Dauda has expressed his intention to seek medical attention due to feeling like his body is “failing.” His ability to compete at the Arnold Classic UK hangs in the balance pending the outcome of his medical evaluation.

In a heartfelt message, Dauda revealed the struggles he’s facing with his health, candidly admitting, “I have to take myself to the hospital to get checked out because I don’t know, my body is just… I’m trying to push through, I’m trying to train, I’m trying to get through it, but my body is just failing at this point and honestly, I just don’t know what else I could do.”

The bodybuilding world is now anxiously awaiting the results of Dauda’s medical evaluation, which will determine his participation in the upcoming Arnold Classic UK. The uncertainty surrounding his health has created a tense atmosphere as supporters hope for positive news. “Time to rest no need to keep pushing now… I’m sure will be good for mental and physical health.” Another emphasized the importance of health and wrote, “Get better soon big man health before everything.” However, amid the overwhelming support, a few voices advocate for a change in approach, with one fan expressing, I’m very sorry for him; he needs to understand if he wants to get better and healthier, he needs to change coach and be with someone who knows actual training science and nutrition science.”
