Romanian bodybuilder Catalin Stefanescu was recently found dead in a lake in Lazuri, Romania.?

As per the post on Instagram, the direct cause of death was explained as drowning in a lake. The caption revealed that the athlete was just 30 years old and died after drowning in a ?shallow lake? while he was on a fishing trip in a small village. The GI community wished for his peaceful rest and sent condolences to his friends and family.?

Further reports on his death revealed that the lake was only 3 feet deep and the athlete was fishing in Lazuri in the Dambovita County of Romania this Sunday. He was fishing with one of his friends, but Catalin was alone when he fell unconscious. The athlete?s companion had left only for a while, to find him senseless in the water, moments later.

After calling the emergency services, the Romanian bodybuilder was pronounced dead at the scene itself. Investigators are probing the matter and trying to find the real cause of the young athlete’s death. Speculations are that he might have been suffering from a sudden illness, which may have caused the unfortunate incident. Regardless of the cause, fans are heartbroken about his demise and took to the comments of the post to share their thoughts.?
