Inspiring fitness stories often take a blink of an eye to become viral. Among thousands of stories that are already available on the internet, there is a story of a woman who became overweight after a painful injury. Recently, Erin Drotleff shared an emotional part of her life with her Instagram family. With just merely walking steps, she tore her calf muscles. 

After the injury, she had to face hurdles in walking. On top of that, she started gaining unwanted weight, which made her more unfit and unhappy. However, she learned the art of overcoming challenges and climbed a steep hill to get her body in good and lean shape. Indeed, it was not an overnight task for her to accomplish, she kept her dedication intact for 1 year and achieved what she had desired for her body. On Instagram, Drotleff made everyone emotional with a long heartfelt note that explained her painful journey.

In a recent Instagram post, Drotleff uploaded a video of herself with a heart-touching caption. The horrible incident of her life took place in 2022 with a painful injury. She revealed that one year ago she tore her calf muscle trying to walk from my car to reach her daughter’s classroom for a conference. Soon after the injury, she texted her husband and said that she could make it out of the classroom and back to the car. At that time, she was in tears and unbearable pain. However, she made herself resolved enough to shed calories. She said, “I had used all my pain and trauma for so long as an excuse to stop caring for myself… and now.. I couldn’t even frickin walk”.

Talking about her determination to lose weight, she said, “That day I told my husband “I don’t care what happens in 2023…I’m losing this weight and I’m getting my life back.” Revealing further she said, with an injured calf, she pushed herself down the longest kindergarten hallway and she reached home and got to know the importance of pushing.

Her long note ended, giving suggestions to its viewers, she revealed that she never wanted to feel that again and never wanted anyone else to have to. She suggested her fans keep going and push, “Whatever you do, keep going. If you keep showing up you eventually will get to the end of the hallway, I promise. I know because I’ve done it and am doing it and you can to0.”, Erin Drotleff wrote.

In addition to this inspiring fitness journey, another woman who was not believed to live longer turned the setback of her life into a comeback. She used her passion to transform her body and now she is a bodybuilder at 66.

Julia Linn fought all hurdles to become a bodybuilder

Julia Linn took to her Instagram to post about her fitness journey. She defeated adversity to become the winner of a bodybuilding competition. 

In her post, she wrote, “Clear intention creates energy that attracts what you need to satisfy those desires. So be careful what you wish for. Be intentional! Go after it & it will also come to you. Your body will transform starting from this inside out.”
