The prestigious competition that declares the best bodybuilder in the world every year is Mr. Olympia. Elite bodybuilders worldwide gear up to earn their entry card for the event to flaunt their ripped physique on stage and win the Sandow trophy. The 2023 edition is scheduled in November, and the bodybuilders are increasing their training efforts to get their chiseled frame.

The two top contenders for this year’s Mr. Olympia are Nick Walker and Samson Dauda. While the Nigerian Lion won the Arnold Classic this year, The Mutant came second. Recently, the latter posted a physique update for his fans, giving a glimpse of his intense preparation. 

Nick Walker’s recent post reveals his muscle gains

The bodybuilding community waits to witness their icons shine on Mr. Olympia’s stage every year. But with the advent of social media, they get physique updates from their stars throughout the training regime. This keeps the hopes high while also revealing the flaws of their icons. The current era of bodybuilders demands a huge social media following and share their transformation with their fans.

Recently, the IFBB Pro, Nick Walker, shared a collage of his pictures from last year and now, and revealed that he is in a much better place this year. “Left- 7 weeks out of the Olympia last year. 277 lbs. Right- 10 weeks out from the Olympia this year. 282 lbs,” he wrote in his post. 

 The 29-year-old confessed after reflecting on his improvement over the year, “Bigger, leaner, fuller- for those, that think I lift to light now, or I’m not as intense as I was.” As only two months are left for the competition to unfold, Walker declared, “Whatever it takes.” The bodybuilder who came third in the 2022 edition of Mr. Olympia is now aiming for the title. However, his rival, Dauda, is also prepping hard for the upcoming event.

Sharing the physique of his mentee, Sarcev earlier mentioned, “Scale stays the same (330 lbs) …conditioning improving. @samson__dauda – 12 weeks out. ” The coach has high expectations from Dauda and aims to win this year’s Mr. Olympia.
