Bodybuilding legends Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman had arguably the greatest rivalry in bodybuilding history. Shortly after Flex Wheeler retired, a challenger appeared on the Mr. Olympia stage. For years, Jay Cutler went up and failed to beat Ronnie Coleman. However, he finally succeed in 2006. While their rivalry gave bodybuilding fans some of the greatest moments in the sport’s history, the two became friends off-stage.

Despite retiring over a decade ago, the two former Mr. Olympia winners have preserved their friendship. In many aspects, their friendship has even grown. One of the latest examples of the growth in their relationship came from Coleman’s latest Instagram post. In the post, the bodybuilding icon had a surprise for his fan. However, Jay Cutler’s comment caught everyone’s attention.

Earlier today, the eight-time Mr. Olympia announced his latest collaboration with YoungLA, which has become a popular brand among gymgoers and fitness enthusiasts. The apparel brand has already collaborated with famous bodybuilders like Chris Bumstead and Jay Cutler. However, it seems the brand is collaborating with even more bodybuilders.

“Hey Buddy, Big Ron is in the house and I am rocking my new YoungLA gear recently sent over to me,” said the eight-time Mr. Olympia. “I am loving these new digs,” he added while posing for a photo in all-black gym wear. Coleman also provided a 15% discount code for his fans. The new collaboration is a huge win for the brand because Coleman is among the most respected bodybuilders in history.

The former Arnold Classic champion also has a massive following of over 10 million across social media. Among the people who congratulated The King was his former rival, Jay Cutler. Cutler, who has been the brand for a while, welcomed Coleman. “Welcome brother,” wrote the three-time Arnold Classic winner on Coleman’s post. However, no matter where they stand in their relationship, the pair have immense mutual respect.

The former champion also narrates certain incidents associated with the images in his posts.
