Hollywood action star and MCU’s God of Thunder, Chris Hemsworth, has transformed his physique many times. With each Thor film, the Australian actor has pushed his body to new limits. In February 2019, the actor launched the Centr app to share his passion with others.

The 40-year-old recently discovered his genetic predisposition for Alzheimer’s. While the Hollywood superstar slowed his pace by signing new projects, he focused even more on fitness. Now, the Thor actor is giving back to those in need through his $200 million fitness franchise. Recently, the actor teamed up with Good Sports to help students in their fitness journey.

Chris Hemsworth invested in the future of fitness

Last week, the Australian actor and his Centr Fit team surprised The Seed School of Miami with a?“Moves that Matter milestone.” While the actor’s journey of sharing his passion for fitness with people began with a mobile app, Centr is now a $200 million fitness franchise. Besides their mobile app, the brand also manufactures various fitness equipment.

However, instead of donating money, Hemsworth arrived on location with?“a game-changing donation.”?The actor wanted to make a donation that could be put to use without going through a bunch of legal hoops. His donation?“included new fitness accessories, equipment, and gear,”?wrote the official Centr Fit Instagram handle.

Hemsworth’s donation would?“support the students’ fitness journey throughout the school year and beyond,” they wrote.?The brand also announced that they are currently helping 28,000 kids reach their fitness goals. What more? They also mentioned that the loyal users who helped Centr become a $200 million brand also played a part in donating to those in need.

The page announced that every minute users have trained using Centr this year has contributed to donations. Hemsworth realizes that fitness is one of the major complements to managing the risk of diseases like Alzheimer’s. Hence, he is doing his part to help those who will carry the torch of health and fitness in the future. But what is Hemsworth doing for himself?

The Thor actor has changed his outlook on life

After the 40-year-old discovered the ominous health warning while filming the Disney+ show Limitless, his outlook toward life changed. During an interview with Vanity Fair, Hemsworth said the discovery of his increased risk for Alzheimer’s wasn’t a complete surprise. He was aware that the disease had been in the family.

The 40-year-old has changed several aspects of his life since the diagnosis. Hemsworth is doing everything, from improving sleep health?to embracing functional fitness?and living with?“a sense of gratitude and love for life.”?However, despite having to live with the danger of Alzheimer’s hanging over his head, the actor is positive about the future. The God of Thunder is also sharing that positivity through giving back.
