In the latest Instagram post, Shawn Ray shared an old video clip of Frank Zane doing his leg exercises for his squats. Because Zane squatted heavy for many years, he started getting knee and lower back injuries towards the end, and the Leg Blaster was a better exercise alternative. He stated, “This device enables you to squat and have your hands free.” Then he also explained how it appears to be like a sissy squat. Zane reflected, “Sort of like a sissy squat where you lean back at your squat and go rock bottom. And then not quite all the way up.”
Although one might expect the God of Aesthetics with a balanced and symmetrical body to focus on all his body parts in a similar fashion, Frank Zane revealed another mantra.

Through one of his Instagram posts, Zane once revealed how one should focus on their weaker body parts before any other. He stated in the caption of his post, “Once you realize your weaker areas, start your workout with this body part. You will pay more attention to it and put greater effort into getting a great pump in the area.”
The bodybuilder also added that bodybuilders must work with those exercises which gives them a better pump. He wrote, “Use the exercises that give you the best pump and include these in your winter workouts.” Not only that, Zane also suggested easing up with exercises on those body parts which are already well developed, so as to maintain a balance.
